    What I find interesting is that the community sharing in the Whova app was so robust, and connected community is rather empty. I enjoyed the conference tremendously, especially the research based sessions, and the vendor hall.

    HI Megan!

    Great observation! We want the same robust interaction with Higher Logic as with the WHOVA app. We will be intentionally directing our members to the WHOVA app for various topics, such as VASE, announcements from Regional Rep, Division Chairs, online PD and other art related content. If we think through the lens of the WHOVA app, everything was targeting to the app for conference information. We will follow the same basic principals for HL. The plan is to form a committee that will help design an infrastructure to help promote the online community. Would love to hear ideas you may have!

    I wasn't sure if we could tag people, but I have edited/updated my comment below. I think if this group is meant to be a safer, social networking site for members, we need a link posted under the Membership/Members Only page and more publication of this network outside of TAEA. 

    The main website needs an overall independent from just editing the userface of the site. Lots of dead links, redundancy, and buried information that is vital to our state programs.

    Sorry for the late response.

    I enjoyed the TAEA conference. I feel this year there was so much I wanted to see, but wasn't able and some rooms actually closed off the entrance ( I understand that rooms are ticketed, but they wouldn't let anyone in to watch like in the past).

    I would like to see some of the information found here if this site is supposed to supplement the conference/TAEA experience. 

    I know within NAEA there are also special communities geared towards specific issues or content. Could we create subgroups here to help such as TX Art SPED Education Resources, TX CPE Training Opportunities?

    **Edit, I see now that there are subgroup committess, but there does seem to be some issues with navigating this site as well as our Main TAEA site. I know they spent a lot of money updating the Userface of the main site, however, there are still issues with specific areas such as the VASE/JrVASE and TEAM pages. A lot of redunacy, complicated redirections trying to find basic info. This connections community is also not accessible outside of the Membership Newsletters. There needs to be a link under the Membership page; which by the way has two pages listed as the same thing under Membership Only.**
