  • 1.  Can we have the Webmaster Please clean up the contest pages/buried links?

    Posted 10-04-2024 13:16

This is a request to whomever sees, can we please have the team in TAEA please go through each of the contests of VASE.JrVASE, and TEAM and clean up the maze every year we have to traverse to find the right page? There's a lot of clutter, and while the userface was update a few years ago, they never addressed the issues with links to pages that are not being consistent or easily accessible on each page for each event. Many pages are buried within other pages and unless you are familiar with this issue, then you could be clicking back and forth continuously until you find your event information.

    Ariel,

Thank you so much for your suggestion.  Could you specify what items seem hard to find so that we can address your concerns specifically?  We really work hard to have things posted in multiple places so that they are easy to find for the teachers.

I am responding that I have seen your email and I will gather images later today or over this week to show you where users find information related to VASE - TEAM is very convoluted and labyrinth-like. Some of the links are buried and lots of the information seems overwhelming. This problem has been ongoing for years. I know that the overhaul of the website was meant to fix these issues, but it feels like generally the website only received a visual facelift and not review/reorganization of the actual information.
